| Well, there haven't been a lot of cosmetic changes, but one difference you may notice is a new domain name. You can now reach this site by going to www.blackdragonlair.com. All of the links have been updated, or at least I think they have. If you experience any problems with the site, please let me know right away at webmaster@blackdragonlair.com. The email account request page is still not working correctly, so if you would like to get an e-mail account with us, please e-mail the information you would normally submit with the request page to postmaster@blackdragonlair.com. One last thing, you may notice a little down time in the very near future. I am going to be updating the hardware on the server to increase its capabilities. I am putting in a P233MMX with 160MB RAM and adding an addition 2.5GB of hard drive space. This should allow me to install SQL Server and use it for the database backend instead of MS Access. Thanks for all your patience and check back for updates. |

| Thank you for visiting my site. Currently, it is still mostly under construction. The Guest Book is working well so, if you haven't signed it yet, please do. The E-mail Account Request form is still not functioning correctly, but I'm working on it. I'm also working on a database backend for the review sections of the site. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to go about this, I'd appreciate it. I'm still learning how to hook a web page into a database. I'm currently using Access 2000 as my server doesn't have enough CPU power or hard drive space to accommodate SQL Server. Perhaps if I get the hardware upgraded in the future I can upgrade to SQL Server 7, but in the meantime, I have to figure out how to make it work with Access 2000. Well, that's about it for now. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the site in general, or would like to help finish and maintain it, please e-mail me. Again, thanks for visiting. |
